Children's cemetery

Outside the town of Maggoty, the body of a young girl is found in an old cemetery. The investigation is taken over by Commissioner Gavin Desmond, a newcomer to the police headquarters, together with Inspector Sofia Garderer, who, on the contrary, feels she has been with the police for far too long and doesn't believe the new boss could change anything. However, they must both put their personal animosity aside, as the body count rises and the case becomes more complicated. Who is the unknown dead girl and how did she get to the cemetery? Is the killer a local? It turns out that the place known as the children's cemetery holds another terrible secret, but by then Gavin and Sofia are already a good team and the killer doesn't stand a chance against them.
The Children's Cemetery is the first instalment in a detective series set in the fictional Kingdom of Arvéd.
