From Miami to the Past: A True Story Full of Twists

The story begins on a sunny beach in Miami Beach, but soon travels back in time to the turbulent year of 1968 in Czechoslovakia. From there, an adventurous journey full of twists and turns unfolds: an escape through Yugoslavia and Italy, leading to a free-thinking hippie community in Spain. Finally, the circle closes back in present-day Miami Beach.
Some moments sound unbelievable—and yet they really happened. The author has simply hidden them under the anonymous identity of the main character, Alex.
The audiobook was directed by Miloš Vrána and brought to life by the voice of actor Jakub Saic. The literary original was written by Dalibor Fonda, author of books such as The Last Projectionist from the Sudetenland, Gutta Schreibt, The Sixties, and the upcoming collection of fairy tales, Six Cannibal Snowmen.
