Christian Robert & The Second Grass: Let' s Drink (2013) - CD

Until now, mostly unrecorded songs and lyrics by Robert Křesťan from the period of Pilgrims and Denimers, which the author wanted to sing again with the accompaniment and participation of the Second Grass.

The title song was born in the late 70' s, but it changed its original trapper form with the Pilgrims and now with the Second Grass. The song Srkala must must also be reminded of a trapper with a stalk of grass with a text by Josef Hiršal. Between cover versions, chosen by Robert Křesťan, belongs to Clapton' s Golden Ring (What' s Gone), first text, which the musician wrote after his arrival at the Pilgrims, Kristofferson' s Rock and Roll Time (What Should I Do), Anderson' s Heavy Horses and the traditional Home Sweet Home. And other commemorative songs include Cibula, To Whom Should I Lie and Hope.

The Second Grass recorded the album Let' s Drink in the composition: Robert Křesťan singing, Luboš Malina banjo, whistle, kaval, clarinet, vocals, Luboš Novotný good, lap steel, Emil Formánek guitar, vocals, Tomáš Liška double bass, Kamil Slezák drums. The following guests participated in it: Charlie McCoy wind accordion, Pavel Petržela vocals, Tomáš Buzek vocals, and it was produced by the band' s longtime friend Steve Walsh.

The album is released as an enhanced CD, because it also contains a photo album with photographs by Jiří Turk.
