Christmas of Smolík McFiggin

A selection from the humorous satirical works of the famous Canadian writer. His humour is kind and deeply humanistic, as are the works of the writers to whom the author subscribed - Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. Lacock was able to capture in his stories, with a kindly smile and sometimes with biting satire, all sorts of human weaknesses, peculiarities and predilections, to mock snobbery, rigid social conventions and various forms of selfishness and petty bourgeoisie.
