Clapton Eric: Happy Xmas - CD

British guitarist, singer and songwriter Eric Clapton is releasing his first Christmas album Happy Xmas on 12. October. This is their 24th studio album, coming two years after the release of I Still Do. Happy Xmas mixes well-known Christmas classics with lesser-known ones, complete with new songs from Clapton's pen, such as For Love On Christmas Day. Clapton himself took care of the album cover, illustrating it with his own hand.

"I thought Christmas songs could be recorded with a slight blues touch. So I started thinking about how to incorporate blues lines between the vocals," zoom in on the Clapton record. "I did it best with Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which defined the basic style. "
