Clarinet Factory: Meadows - CD

A long seven years since the release of their last regular album, Out of Home, and three years after the double album Worx and Reworx, the internationally acclaimed ensemble Clarinet Factory is back with a new studio effort! On this new record, entitled Meadows, which features guests such as Joe Acheson from the British group Hidden Orchestra, the folk ensemble Grunik, and drummer Dan Šoltis from Vertigo Quintet, Clarinet Factory returns to its “natural roots,” in its own words.

The four-member ensemble recorded the new album at SONO Records studio in Nouzov, with the main intention that “all the tracks would have a natural drive, a common resonant colour, and dynamics, without needing to be created 'chemically' at the mixing desk. Milan Cimfe and Michal Vaniš have known us very well for years, and you can definitely hear that in the sound.” Listeners can also look forward to several new additions that have fundamentally transformed Clarinet Factory's sound in recent years, such as the contrabass clarinet, analogue effects, and other gadgets.
