Cleopatra

YOU KNOW MY NAME, BUT YOU DON'T KNOW ME. Historians call me a seductress, but I have always been bound by love. The playwrights think I'm a diva, but my talents came from the gods. Poets wax poetic about my bloodlust, but I was only protecting my children. They stubbornly refuse to admit that a woman can wield power, understand strategy and rule with the blessing of the gods. Death will silence me no more. THIS IS NOT A STORY ABOUT HOW I DIED. IT'S THE STORY OF HOW I LIVED.
