Clock in Paris

Interwar Paris is a melting pot of genius, brimming with writers, artists and musicians. Just a few years after Marcel Proust finished his magnum opus In Search of Lost Time, Ernest Hemingway writes his first novel in his spartan study, surrealist André Breton declares Pablo Picasso „ one of us“ and the city on the Seine falls at the feet of exotic beauty Josephine Baker… and the nightclubs are filled with thunderous jazz tunes until dawn.

But amidst the dazzling creativity of the city's most famous residents, there is someone else. Camille, a former maid, Souren, an Armenian refugee, Guillaume, an artist unluckily in love, and Jean-Paul, a lonely journalist; four ordinary people marked by the brutality of war and lost in a world that celebrates life. Four ordinary people marked by a fate as extraordinary as the city through whose streets they desperately wander.

One day their paths are to cross unexpectedly in a wild cabaret in Montmartre. But will everyone find what they are looking for?
