Coffee to Help: sugar, coffee, lemonade - CD

The album "Cukr, káva, limonáda, " was created during the holidays of 2021 in the ExAvik studio in Klatovy, under the watchful eye of sound master Pavel Brom. The mastering was done by Adam Karlík from SONO and we can say without exaggeration that it was a lucky move on the part of the band as well as in the case of the recording studio. And what does the album hidden by the great design of the renowned graphic designer Anička Voříšková actually contain? Coffee to help decided to write thirteen original songs in the CD plastic. Leoš Janoušek is responsible for the music from the first to the last track. The lyrics of the album were written by two authors. The guitarist of the band Jan Švácha and the singer-songwriter Eva Suková, who travels around Czech clubs and groves under the pseudonym Blondýna. The group Coffee to Help set four lyrics to the well-known singer-songwriter's music. It is very difficult to find a label for the style of music of the mentioned group. Although its cast often swears by the alternative, they don't mention it anywhere in their promotional materials. Probably because it doesn't like boxes and drawers, but probably also because the alternative direction has so many branches and twigs that the slogan itself doesn't really mean anything. The album is dominated by rather complex arrangements, which are, however, easy to listen to. At times it feels like a crowd of people are discussing around you. Sometimes his individuals argue, only to start chanting and after a while let the strongest individuals stand out. The fundamental manifestations insistently embed themselves in the cerebral coils and tend to remain there in the form of a melodic parasite.
