Cold cases: death in heels

The last document and an unsolved death

The fifth, standalone installment of the award-winning series, which has sold over 100,000 copies and been translated into a number of languages, once again combines the best of the popular TV crime series The Bridge and Crime.
David Landström, who is on the verge of a successful drag queen career, is brutally murdered in his home in Sandhammaren. His death remains unsolved after twelve years, and the only thing left of him is an unfinished documentary film about his life.
When a journalist investigating the case is shot, Tess Hjalmarsson, head of Skåne' s closed case team, decides it' s time to reopen the investigation. The dramatic Eurovision finale is approaching in Malmö, a terrorist threat hangs over the city and police are everywhere. In a gloomy atmosphere, the criminalist begins her investigation in the local nightclub and soon after, she and her partner, Marie Erlingová, find themselves in the middle of a dramatic investigation and hunt for a perpetrator who shows no consideration for anyone or anything.
On top of that, Tess unexpectedly falls into the lap of an inheritance in the form of a large house in Stockholm, and she is horrified to discover that her friend Sandra would apparently like to trade the Österlen countryside for life in the capital.
