Colette: A Story of Passion - DVD

A young Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (Keira Knightley) falls in love with the charismatic Parisian writer Willy (Dominic West). After their wedding, she is catapulted from the quiet countryside into the world of dazzling Parisian salons and intoxicating high-society parties.
She writes her first semi-autobiographical novel about a heroine named Claudine. It becomes a phenomenal success, but it is published under Willy’s name.
Colette must fight for her authorship while challenging the restrictive conventions of the era regarding women's fashion, sexuality, and independence.
