Lulled by the stereotype of marriage, Karol discovers that while she was enjoying the peace and quiet of her home with a book after work, her husband was enjoying himself in the lap of another woman. Thanks to a younger colleague, the introverted thirty-something returns to her social life and, above all, to herself. Under the guidance of her more experienced friend, she tries dating again, but finds that it is not easy in this day and age. Surprisingly, she finds love closer than she expected. She realises that it will not be an ideal relationship and that a difficult decision awaits her. Should she choose a complicated, uncertain, but strong love, or should she finally stand up for herself and not be dependent on someone else? Her divided self does not make the choice any easier. She has a constant dialogue in her head, which brings her a great deal of self-criticism and at the same time surprising exchanges of opinion. Will she choose the best option in the end?
