Collegium Musicum: Convergence (2x CD) - CD
Konvergencie is the second studio album by Slovak art-rock band Collegium Musicum. It was recorded in September and October 1971 and released in December of that year.
The band was famous mainly for its interpretations of well-known themes from classical music works (for example, Joseph Haydn's Concerto in D) and was the most important group from the former Eastern Bloc countries in this respect. For this reason it is often compared to the British bands The Nice and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, known for their arrangements of classical music.
Album is rated by expert critics as one of the best in the history of Slovak popular music.
