Coltrane John: Another Side Of John Coltrane (2x LP) - LP

ANOTHER SIDE OF JOHN COLTRANE is a collection that highlights the contribution of the great "Trane" as a guest or sideman in other people's projects (Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Tadd Dameron and Art Taylor). The focus is on the early stages of his career, when he recorded for the Prestige, Riverside and Jazzland labels, but there is also a valuable example taken from the Columbia catalogue, a memorable rendition of "Someday My Prince Will Come" as part of the great Miles' sextet.
