Comanche County Sheriff

A wealthy but eccentric rancher is murdered on a remote Arizona ranch. A man who is clearly not who he claims to be arrives at Cory Blaine' s nearby ranch, which hosts Western entertainment for wealthy Easterners. When one of the girls is kidnapped, a dangerous game begins. The murdered rancher' s daughter and the Comanche County sheriff arrive on the scene—and the complicated case begins to unravel in a way no one expected. The story takes place in the era of silent films and the first automobiles, when the cattle market is declining and the old familiar world of cowboys is disappearing.
