Communists before the coup
This is the story of two friends, set in the period 1965–1970, who start their first job after finishing school. There, they experience their first professional successes and failures, first loves, and above all, the author humorously describes their daily clashes with the omnipresent politics of the time. However, the author strongly points out that he has nothing in common with today's fanatical and hypocritical anti-communists, the vast majority of whom are recruited from former communist bigwigs who quickly changed their tune after the Velvet Revolution and are now fanatical and characterless capitalists. The author's primary aim is to entertain the reader, and his view of the past regime is mildly satirical, as he is convinced that every regime has its pros and cons. He believes the current regime is not so different from the last one, and in some aspects, is even more criminal, but try telling that to the bolsheviks in new clothes, right?
