Courting Crime

A new collection of crime short stories by Ladislav Beran, Commissioner Emeritus of the Criminal Service, tells the story that every courtship does not have to end well, and courtship with crime even less so. Even the titles of the detective stories - The Devil's Plan, Partner, who didn't keep his word, A paid alibi, Goodbye freedom, Second Identity, Thief, who had no talent, but also those with poetic names, like Midnight Blues for the Old Lady, You don't foul in the double bed, Courting Crime or Eyes, that lied - they promise the necessary tension, humor and humanity, that are typical for this author.
