Cross by the brook

By a cross near a stream, Evička meets Štěpán, who falls in love with her and wants to marry her. But Štěpán comes from a cursed lineage – in the Potocký family, no one is lucky in love. Evička knows their story, but she decides to break the family's curse with her faithful love for Štěpán. She accepts his marriage proposal. For several years, they live in a wonderful relationship, but then everything becomes complicated, and their life together turns into a nightmare. Can the faithful Eva, despite her husband's behaviour, break his family's curse and find peace?
