Dan Vertigo: #DNVRTG - CD

Unconventional Brno-based singer-songwriter Dan Vertígo released his second album, "#DNVRTG", in the first half of May 2019. It was preceded by the successful music video for the song "Šťastní a veselí" and the singles "Bůhvíkam" and "Pojď, vylezeme na střechu".

Don't expect classic singer-songwriter folk – although Dan tours across the Czech Republic with just a guitar, an electric drum, and his vocal cords, on the new album he recorded the songs with diverse arrangements, often with a nearly full-band sound.

Several songs also feature guest appearances from musician friends, who recorded drums (Vojtěch Bořil from Už Jsme Doma), saxophone (Matouš Hamerník), cajon (Jakub Vašica), or trumpet (Petr Bárta).

The themes of the songs are the atmospheres of the cities where the author lived when the songs were written (Brno and Prague), travel experiences, relationships, drinking, and other joys and sorrows of life. The album has a predominantly positive spirit, which is occasionally stirred by an unexpectedly calm or pensive song.
