You will now be able to use stances—combat postures, or special abilities that will allow you to inflict much more fatal wounds on your enemies. The damage you deal will not only depend on the equipment you find, but on your overall fighting style, which will be useful in more than one difficult situation.
Detailed graphics create a breathtaking and properly dark fantasy world, where you'll feel every swing of your weapon.
At times you'll also enjoy some gothic scenery.
Be constantly on your guard
As you traverse the world, you will encounter a variety of monsters, most of whom will try to kill you on your quest to save the innocent. It's therefore important to always adapt your combat strategy to new threats, and some of the monsters can even transition through several different phases during a single fight. Dark Souls III thus remains a thrilling experience where you never know what will happen next.
