Dark Summer

It is the summer of 1960 in the small town of Elm Haven, Illinois, where a bond is forming between five twelve-year-old boys – a bond that not even the unpredictable course of life can break. From sunset bike rides to shady hideouts in the woods, the boys' days are shaped by all the secrets and quiet moments of an idyllic childhood. However, amidst the sun-drenched cornfields, their friendship will be put to a merciless test. When a long-silent bell rings in the middle of the night, the town's inhabitants know their carefree days are over.
