During her childhood, young documentary filmmaker Alice listened to her grandmother's stories about her hometown, from which all the inhabitants, including her family, had inexplicably disappeared, and this mystery has always fascinated her. So now she has put together a group of friends to try to find out and record what really happened that day.
In the suspenseful story of the rising star of the Swedish thriller, two time planes intertwine. We follow the present through the eyes of a film crew that comes to Silvertjärn for the first time in sixty years. But it soon becomes apparent that they are probably not entirely alone.
