Deadpool - DVD

Before he became Deadpool, he was Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), a former member of the Special Forces. When doctors diagnosed him with an advanced stage of cancer, he underwent experimental treatment under the Weapon X program, known and popular, especially among X-Men mutants.

As a result, Wade got rid of cancer, and not only stayed alive, but also, as a bonus, gained the ability to heal quickly. Unfortunately, for example - in contrast to Wolverine, who remained quite sexy after such treatment - he came out of this experiment permanently disfigured. In his own words, he looks like “an avocado who had sex with an older avocado“. That is why he accepted a costumed alter ego named Deadpool without much resistance.
