The dark side of the classics of Marxism, or what the fathers of the proletariat wrote to each other.It probably won' t surprise anyone that Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels wrote to each other about capital. What was unexpected, however, was that it was very often about the lack of their work. In the radio collage from their correspondence, you will hear: Ilja Racka as Karl Marx and Jiří Ornest as Friedrich Engels. The two classics of the left-wing movement first met in November 1842 in the editorial office of the Rheinische Zeitung in Cologne. They began corresponding in March 1844. Their correspondence was extensive and lasted until the end of Marx' s life. Only part of it has survived; it is estimated that several hundred letters are missing. Even so, it is an important source of knowledge for both classics of the workers' revolutionary movement.
