Double murder in Chrudim: Political intrigues and dark crimes of the time of John of Luxembourg
After the death of Holy Roman Emperor Henry VII. Luxembourg' s son, the Czech King John of Luxembourg, is also competing for the throne, as is Frederick of Habsburg, the younger brother of the former Czech King Rudolf. Frederick realizes that his prospects are not great, so he decides to take a sabotage action against John of Luxembourg. The situation is further complicated by former queen Eliška Rejčka. A double murder in one of Rejčča' s towns, Chrudim, suggests that something is starting to happen. The mysterious crimes and their suspected background are set out to uncover the proven investigators, knight Blahota of Lítožnice and religious brother Kryštof of the Zbraslav Monastery. However, upon arriving in Chrudim, they discover that everything is much worse than they feared in their darkest imaginations.
