Death lurks on the road

Ray Ames was a caravan leader on the dreaded "Comanche Road," a road leading westward along which long treks stretched from Texas to California. This time, when he took over the caravan at Grey Bear Water, he was in for a surprise. The captain of the escort was John Kinkaid, a man he hated. He was the reason he was kicked out of the army. Besides, Ray Ames also met the beautiful Eve Fontaine, whom Kinkaid had his eye on.
