Declassified Vatican

DVD Film - A centre of the Catholic faith off the main tourist route. The film summarizes the mission, activities and position of the Vatican in the contemporary world, with a reminder of its recent past and more recent history. It combines the public face of the world's smallest country and its supreme leader with inputs behind the lines of official protocol. Thanks to the deepening ties and ever closer contacts between the US and the Vatican, American documentarians have been able to get a glimpse into some of the places of the Papal State that are inaccessible to ordinary visitors, including the purely private spaces of the Holy Father, which the camera walks through with him.
