Deer: Wolf Heart - LP

On their album Vlčí srdce, the band Jelen draws from their folk roots, but the songs are also infused with the legendary concert energy that has conquered Czech stages in recent years.
Unlike their debut recording, Světlo ve tmě, this new album was created with an already established line-up, and all band members were involved in writing the new songs.
The album features a guest appearance from fellow singer-songwriter Kateřina Marie Tichá, who sings on the track Slunovrat, and two tracks feature Vu Thao Chi, a talented Vietnamese singer from Pilsen.
The opening track Sám sebou is particularly special, built unconventionally on vocals alone without any musical accompaniment.
