Deer: Wolf' s Heart - CD

On their album Vlčí srdce, the band Jelen draws from their folk roots, but the songs are also infused with the renowned concert energy that has conquered Czech stages in recent years.
Unlike their debut record, Světlo ve tmě, this new album was created with a settled line-up, and all band members were involved in writing the new songs.
The record features a guest appearance from fellow singer-songwriter Kateřina Marie Tichá, who sings on the track Slunovrat, while Vu Thao Chi, a talented Vietnamese singer from Pilsen, is featured on two songs.
The very first track, Sám sebou, is particularly distinctive, built unconventionally on vocals alone without any musical accompaniment.
