Devil's Dance

Jaga and the Devil 3

The Devil's Dance

The Slavic Gods are at war and I am the prize they are fighting for.

I am broken. A piece of my soul has burned away, leaving only emptiness and numbness in its wake. I wander the caves of Nav, the only place that isn't completely safe. And when I can no longer bear the boredom of aimlessly wandering through life, I amuse myself by watching Voland's pathetic attempts at repentance.

He grovels. He begs. He brings me gifts. With every shake of my head, his desperation deepens. Oh, how well he can lie.

But he has no idea that nothing will ever make me trust him again. And if that broken part of my soul ever heals, I will tear it out of myself and destroy it.

Because Voland was right. Love is a terrible weakness.
