Diamond Head: Lightning To The Nations 2020 (2x LP) - LP

This year marks forty years since the release of the first album, and to mark the occasion, the band has prepared a special version. They have re-recorded all the tracks, given the record new cover art and, in addition to the seven original album tracks, have also recorded four bonus tracks – covers of songs by Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Judas Priest and Metallica.

British heavy metal band Diamond Head were formed in 1976 by guitarist Brian Tatler and drummer Duncan Scott and were one of the first bands to be classified as part of the “New Wave of British Heavy Metal”. Despite many splits and line-up changes, the band is still active today and is cited as a major musical influence by bands such as Metallica and Megadeth.
