Nataša, a successful designer of toys for children, is able to provide better financially for the family, so they agree that Dominik, as a father on maternity leave, will take over the main part of the care of the newborn. He approaches the task with the somewhat naive idea that it will give him enough time to finally write the book he has been planning for a long time. Wrong!
Dominik has to use all his ingenuity to manage the care of little Čeněk during the first year, which at times becomes a struggle for survival. However, through living with a little person, he also discovers how many forms love can take.

The Diary of a Modern Dad is based on the successful blog that writer Dominik Landsman started with the arrival of his first child. After its publication in 2014, it became a bestseller and was followed by further sequels.
