Disappearing Terezín

For more than 16 years, Lukáš Lev has been guiding visitors through the former Terezín ghetto and uncovering forgotten stories. In his book, he describes the tragic fates of the prisoners there, including Hana Littenová and the “boys from the attic”. Based on discovered inscriptions, artefacts, archives, and interviews with survivors and their descendants, he pieces together a mosaic of the past, the remnants of which are sadly disappearing before our eyes today. The reader will learn about the sluice gate, the children's pavilion, or a discovered suitcase containing an almost unbelievable correspondence.
