Domažlická dudácká muzika: Truc na truc - CD

Folk music in Chodsko is still developing in its natural environment, it does not remain preserved in the rehearsal rooms of folklore ensembles or on the stages of folklore festivals. Here, bagpipe music is part of the life not only of the members of the ensembles and bagpipe musicians, but with its characteristic sound and wisdom, truth and the constant relevance of its lyrics, it can reach a wide range of listeners today. And so for the members of the Domažlice Bagpipe Music this music is an inseparable part of everyday and festive moments, which they make more pleasant by "squeezing the pukla".

The CD's dramaturgy ranges from well-known songs to lesser-known ones to new instrumental pieces, and the arrangements often go beyond the usual convention. The composer and singer-songwriter Radůza is also featured in three songs, which in itself takes this CD beyond the boundaries of conventional recordings of traditional folk music.
