Double entry bookkeeping 2020

For anyone interested in learning double-entry accounting well, this book is here! It focuses on the most common accounting operations that occur in the practice of an entrepreneur. The interpretation begins with generally accepted accounting principles, and the basic building blocks of double-entry accounting are discussed in detail. The following is an analysis of accounting examples by accounting class, i.e. from tangible fixed assets, through inventories and receivables to capital accounts, expenses and income. Examples are solved by charging to accounts, using account numbers historically used. The basic tax context is attached to costs and revenues, e.g. calculation of tax depreciation.

We pay great attention to the financial statements, the preparation of the balance sheet, the profit and loss account and the annexes. The book contains separate chapters with examples for preparing a statement of changes in equity and a number of examples for preparing a cash flow statement. Finally, the obligations of a legal entity after the preparation of the financial statements are discussed, i.e. the obligation to prepare an annual report and a report on relations between related parties, approval of the financial statements by the general meeting and their publication. Accounting for profit sharing and its tax implications is also an important chapter.
