Brothers Dan and Nat Hollister are supposed to meet their friend Andy Lorimer in Tombstone. On their way, they are ambushed and left stranded by the loss of their horses. There are several candidates who might want them dead – the wealthy Archer brothers who control the law in town, and the gunslingers Pirie and Shane, whom the Hollister brothers are after. After both brothers are put out of action, Andy, a sworn opponent of guns with a mysterious past, takes their place.
