Education in midwifery

The book deals with the issue of education in midwifery. It focuses on the specifics of education with pregnant women, parents and women in the six-week period. Introduces the reader to the knowledge and skills necessary for effective midwifery education.

Midwives are expected to have a skilled and professional approach to clients, families, communities and students in education. The emphasis is on education – educating clients. It is essential that students are able to navigate this broad area and obtain the necessary information in a comprehensive form.

The books so far devoted to this issue are focused only on nursing and do not deal with midwifery.
