Eggs - DVD

Petr Kocourek (Tomáš Vorel jr.) is applying for the graphic design department at UMPRUM, which only accepts a chosen few. He has already been rejected once, and Professor Slanina (Jakub Kohák) is uncompromising. The beautiful Julie (Eva Josefíková) is also applying to the school, and Kocourek falls head over heels in love with her. Michal Kolman (Jiří Mádl) is studying at the University of Economics, but instead of lectures and seminars, he is only interested in his female classmates and fast cars. He gets through exams and coursework by cheating, bribery, or with the help of his influential father (Jan Kraus). Kocourek's mother (Zuzana Bydžovská) long ago gave up the idea that her son would study anything respectable, while Mrs. Kolmanová (Ivana Chýlková) constantly supports and pampers her son. The two boys have been connected since secondary school by their illegal graffiti art. They experience wild adventures on Prague's rooftops, at train stations, and in underpasses. During one night-time chase, Kocourek is caught. The music and rap by DJ Mike Trafik and Vladimir 518, the understated acting, the dynamic camera work, and the mysterious nocturnal corners all give Prague an authentic feel.
