Egyptian Sinuhet

Egyptian Sinuhet
A reading from one of the world's most important novels of the 20th century. Mika Waltari (1908-1979) wrote and had published the novel The Egyptian Sinuhet in 1945, and although it described the life of an Egyptian physician of the time of the greatest pharaohs, it was primarily about the wartime traumas of his contemporaries. Sinuhet, without much input, rises to the highest rulers of his time and influences the fate of the entire state without being able to affect his life and the lives of his loved ones. His life is not happy because he is not aware of moments of happiness before dark fate strikes.
