Eilish Billie: When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) - CD

American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish is releasing her album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? which will be released on 29 March. “When I wrote ‘bury a friend’, the whole album just clicked into place in my head,” Billie says, describing the new music. “I immediately knew what it was going to be about, what it was going to look like, and how I wanted it to be perceived. The title of the lead single gave me the concept: ‘bury a friend’ is written from the perspective of the monster under my bed – what would I do, what would I feel as that creature? I confess that I am that monster, that I am my own worst enemy. I might even be the monster under your bed.”

Billie Eilish is one of the most prolific and exciting artists today, a status she was catapulted into by her debut, Ocean Eyes. Billie definitively conquered the pop front line with her recent EP don't smile at me, which spent a continuous 18 months on the Billboard 200 chart and has over 5 billion streams to date. Billie herself has almost 3.5 million followers on Instagram, will appear at festivals such as Lollapalooza and Summer Sonic this year, and will be supporting Florence and the Machine at some concerts next year.
