Eivør Pálsdóttir: Slør

LP Record Faroese folk singer-songwriter EIVØR is releasing her second studio album in a year, "Slør". "Slør" is a collection of newly composed songs that EIVØR sings in her native language – Faroese. The album is a follow-up to the English-language album "Bridges". And although they are two different albums in different languages, there is a connection between the two records. Where "Bridges" was light and primarily pensive, "Slør" sounds rawer and more reflective. "Bridges" was inspired by friendship, love, and homesickness. It explores the bridges between us, the relationships between people, places, and also the things that touch us. "Slør", in contrast, indulges in wandering, exploring themes of separation and the search for peace.
