Elán: Sun Thief - CD

Typical Patejdl, typical Zeman, typical Elán and behind it all the joy of the listeners, because the author still writes with love and verve.

Ľuboš Zeman belongs to a group of authors who fundamentally cultivated the quality of song lyrics in modern Slovak popular music. He wrote just as naturally for Karol Duchoň and Jana Kocianová as he did for Robo Grigorov or the band Elán. He has his own poetics and style, he is readable and recognisable, and it is no coincidence that he has won nine Bratislava Lyre awards.

His lyrics for the greatest legend of Slovak pop music, the band Elán, fulfil all these attributes. At the time they were created, they were hits; today they are evergreens, and yet they remain vibrant and relevant.
Proof of this is this exceptional author's album with a little cherry on top – the new track Hieronymus Bosch.
