Eli

Audiobook Eli, by Eva and Klára Pospíšilovy, read by Tomáš Žilinský and Tomáš David. Directed by Ondřej Černý. CAN THEY REWRITE THEIR STORY TOGETHER? It was supposed to be a story of loss, fear and survival. But then he met him. And suddenly everything was about him. About Eli. Nathaniel sometimes feels that where his soul should be, there is a desolate world. Drugs take him to places that are hard to return from, but if it weren't for them, he would have to relive every bad experience. His dad left him. His mum died. And then everything went to hell very quickly. Elkan isn't living, he's been surviving for the last few years. He spends most nights in his room, playing one game after another on his PlayStation. He can't sleep because sleep brings nightmares that tear him apart. There's a certain fate in Nathaniel and Elkan meeting again after all these years. They can help each other and pull themselves up from the bottom, or fall even deeper together. Can these two boys rewrite their story and turn it into a new beginning? EVA AND KLÁRA POSPÍŠILOVY Eva Pospíšilová was born in Polička, but spent most of her life in the small village of Horní Bradlo. She studied scriptwriting and dramaturgy at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts and collaborated with Czech Television. Klára Pospíšilová was born in Zlín and studied journalism. Klára and Eva Pospíšilovy form a writing duo. They met on the internet through the Harry Potter fan base. They started writing together, first fan fiction, then shorter stories, and finally their first joint book, Pátá minuta je o nás, was created. And as the stories grew, they decided to start their own website, szabi.cz, where they publish books, novellas, and short stories. Romantic, dramatic, quirky, whatever comes to mind. Their trademark is that they almost always choose boys as their main characters. They are currently working on another story together, recording podcasts and raising two wonderful dogs.
