Emma: radio dramatization

The rich and intelligent Emma lives in a closed rural community and makes every effort to form suitable marital connections among her friends and acquaintances. Without realizing that it is not appropriate to interfere in people's destinies, she is quite confident in her "fun". The consequences of Emma's reckless actions often catch not only their creator by surprise...

At the Hartfield family estate, that Emma shares with her hypochondriac father, engages in boring activities suitable for a young lady - embroidery, paints, visits the poor, and also looks after Mr Woodhouse's health, which is not at all satisfying. With great enthusiasm, he decides to make the people around him happy. Convinced of her own infallibility - and with a great deal of self-confidence - she influences interpersonal relations not only on her estate.
