Empty houses

Stories of houses have sad and good endings, but most often they have no ending, they continue. Influenced by historical events, progress and the transformation of the immediate environment. Such stories are mapped in the book Empty Houses, based on the website of the same name. The website brought together people who care about the fate of these buildings:

We believe that a built house should not be empty. Noted. We're looking for causes. Motivating. We're influencing.

The book Empty Houses brings the best of the database of empty houses in Prague. Each chapter includes a timeline of the history of each building and extensive photo documentation. It invites the reader to walk into the dilapidated interiors of Prague villas, palaces and industrial buildings.
