Empty houses - residential and industrial

In this third instalment of the book series about empty yet interesting houses, we will embark on another journey to fascinating places that I have had the opportunity to visit and document. This time, we will focus on residential properties, such as villas, chateaus, and palaces, as well as buildings that formerly served the public – from industrial structures to cultural centres. The stories of these houses are constantly evolving; while some remain in a desolate state, others have already been renovated and brought back to life. An example is the Nová Včelnice Chateau, which was sold in a completely dilapidated condition – so much so that its caretaker fell through the floor. In this book, you will find unique photographs capturing the transformation of these places before and after their renovation.
In short, the book presents the very best from the database of empty houses (poznejdomy.cz), complete with timelines and extensive photographic documentation.
