Etta James: The Platinum Collection CLR

LP Record Many famous female singers passed through the hands of the renowned soul/R&B producer Jerry Wexler, from Aretha Franklin to Dusty Springfield. He waited 20 years to work with Etta James, saying in his biography, "Etta is a church unto herself, her voice is a powerful influence, her musical personality can express an extraordinary range of moods. A woman used but not used up, abused but never defeated, vulnerable but victorious through sheer force of will." Her legend lives on in her music.
