Everything I didn't get to tell you

A graceful dancer from a folklore troupe. Šuhaj from the Kremnické hills. Slovak as a turnip - an embroidered belt, boots and an embroidered shirt. His name is Jakub Spevák, but he doesn't sing because his voice has often been mocked for being queer, faggy or effeminate. And so he lied and lied to fit in, at least a little bit. He lied to protect himself. He lied right up to the moment of his father's death. What all did Jacob fail to tell his father? He eventually swapped the boots for high-heeled shoes. Embroidered shirt for a sheer dress. And fear and shame for freedom and courage. Audioniha Everything I have failed to tell you is not just one man's deeply honest confession, James speaks for many other people who have to hide and then defend who they really are since childhood. For all those who struggle to find their place in a society that rejects otherness and retain their uniqueness. The audiobook also includes a PDF image supplement, which you can download HERE.
