Expanded Assertiveness for the Older Generation

An e-book from one of the most prolific and widely read authors in his field and of Czech writers in general.

More than seventy years have passed since the concept of assertiveness originated in the USA. It still remains one of the most sought-after collections of information and abilities in the broad field of soft skills. This e-book creatively summarises the findings of American pioneers and prominent Czech successors in the field of assertiveness. It highlights important differences between the American and Czech conceptions, which were “lost in translation” from English to Czech. The reader will find all ten assertive rights and all eight assertive techniques here—expanded, modernised, and provided with specific instructions and examples. The book ushers in a new generation by using multi-methods, or psycho-formulas, which have already helped hundreds of thousands of people to communicate better.

Author David Gruber has incomparably the longest experience with commercial communication courses in our country—elements of assertiveness can be found in his speed-reading and mental work techniques courses from the mid-1980s. He has been continuously expanding and perfecting his knowledge ever since—based on studies both at home and abroad, his own research, and extensive training practice and feedback from his students and readers. As a result, his students from the first generation of the 80s and 90s now often send their own children to his courses and pass on his books to them, to give them a competitive edge in their careers.
