Falco: Wiener Blut CLR

LP Record Wiener Blut was released in August 1988, reaching the top ten in Germany and number two in Austria, among other charts. Falco originally planned to record the songs for this album with a new production team (Gunter Mende and Candy Derouge) and in a different musical direction (more melodic, radio-friendly, and commercial). In the end, however, only four songs from these sessions were used; the remaining six tracks were created with his usual collaborators, the Bolland brothers. The final track was a cover of the Steely Dan hit 'Do It Again'. The album produced the singles 'Wiener Blut' and 'Satellite to Satellite', and the track 'Do It Again' was also released as a 12" in the USA.
